Too Hot to Bake? (Cupcakes Without the Oven!)

☀️ When It’s 100° Outside… The Last Thing You Want Is Your Oven On

If you’re anything like me, summer means one thing:
keeping the house cool at ALL costs.

But of course… that’s exactly when the kids say:
“Can we have cupcakes?”

Turning on the oven? Absolutely not.
Heating up the kitchen? Hard pass.

That’s when this little lifesaver comes in

🧁 The Mom Hack: Electric Cupcake Maker

I have the Holstein electric cupcake maker is basically like a waffle maker—but for cupcakes.

✔ No preheating a big oven
✔ No heating up your whole house
✔ Plug it in and go
✔ Cupcakes ready in minutes - Seriously half the baking time, set a timer for 6 minutes!

It’s one of those gadgets you don’t think you need… until you use it once.

✨ Bonus: The Holstein cupcake maker can make other delicious treats besides cupcakes

  • Canned Cinnamon Rolls
I didn’t use cupcake liners for this one. I sprayed the cupcake wells with Pam, cut each canned cinnamon roll into 4 pieces, and dropped them into the cupcake maker. Cook for about 6–8 minutes. They come out looking and tasting a lot like little monkey bread bites.

  • Cornbread Muffins
Just as fluffy and delicious as oven-baked cornbread, without heating up the kitchen.

  • Brownie Bites
I use cupcake liners for these and fill them about ¼ full with brownie batter. This one takes a little practice. My suggestion: test with one or two wells first so you don’t ruin an entire batch.

  • Muffins
You can buy those easy muffin mixes at the store for around $1.35 where you just add milk. They’re so simple that even the kids can help make them!
